RuPaul's Drag Race 2 - Episode 7: Once Upon a Queen

OK DVR fail. I'm going to have to watch the replay tomorrow. Here's a video of the preview.

However, I did manage to watch the untucked part of the show where everyone is just hating on Tatianna.

The winner of the Once Upon a Queen challenge was Raven. Yay!

RESULTS:

Tatianna - shantay you stay. (And then she gave this funny face. WTF)

Jessica Wild - sashay'ed away.

Aww, will miss you Jessica Wild.

Just for perspective, Tatianna is the Rebecca Glasscock of this season. The upstart beautiful queen who the judges keep pushing forward in the competition that everyone else can't stand. Raven is the Shannel of this season: the pro veteran queen seeking validation of their awesomeness.

Jujubee is Ongina (except more motherly). Tyra Sanchez is Bebe Zahara Benet (except not as nice). Jessica Wild is Nina Flowers (except not as fierce). Pandora Boxx is Tammie Brown (? - the funny queen?)

There are patterns in the casting but everyone is unique of course. I'm amazed at how casting does influence the dynamic for drama in the series.
