Paula Abdul is out as judge of The X Factor

Nooooo! This can't be happening! Deadline.com is reporting that Paula Abdul is also leaving The X Factor as judge. I can't believe it. I'm going to wait for an official confirm on this one. E! Online is also confirming the news.

This news comes after it was confirmed that Steve Jones and Nicole Scherzinger are out of the show for good.

OMG Does this mean Paula will revive Live To Dance on CBS? Please @god make it happen!

From Deadline:

BREAKING… EXCLUSIVE: Today at The X Factor was a bloodbath which just claimed its biggest name. Not only was host Steve Jones let go and judge Nicole Scherzinger exited from the Fox show today, but now a Simon Cowell insider just told me that his longtime friend and American Idol colleague Paula Abdul won’t be returning as an X Factor judge next season. I understand from sources that none of the three left on their own accord and that it was cleaning house day at the so-so rated show.

From E! Online:

Believe it or not, Fox has informed Simon Cowell's longtime friend Paula Abdul she won't be needed for the series' next installment.

"She found out today," says a show source. "At this point, the only ones staying are Simon and L.A. Reid."

Another source confirms to E! News that both Paula and Nicole were not renewed, "Simon wants to take the show in a different direction," says the insider.

Might Paula ultimately be brought in? Is this just a negotiating ploy? Our sources both say no, that they are moving on and, a source says, "the plan is to part ways amicably."
