Director David Michôd's long-awaited follow up to his Academy Award-nominated Animal Kingdom could have audiences looking at Robert Pattinson in a whole new light.

The Rover centers on a man (Guy Pearce) on a mission of revenge against the gang who stole his car from a Podunk town in the Australian Outback, with the forced assistance of one of the gang's own members (Robert Pattinson), who was left behind in theft. Of course, the real kicker here is that the film takes place ten years after the collapse of civilization as we know it, meaning that the car is worth a whole lot more than your average vehicle. The dark, gritty drama doesn't look like it'll be for the faint of heart, but then neither was Animal Kingdom. You can check out the full trailer below:
