Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace to join 'The View' as co-hosts

Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace are set to co-host The View, joining Whoopi Goldberg and Rosie O'Donnell. Deadline reported the news on Wednesday.

Nicolle Wallace was the communications director of George W. Bush and was a front-runner for the positions vacated by Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy after she did a screen test last month.

Actress Rosie Perez has starred in many films and on TV. She started her career in Do the Right Thing directed by Spike Lee. She co-hosted the show back in February.

So exactly according to plan, ABC has found their conservative and Latina voice for The View. I hope it works!

I am looking forward to this panel. The new season starts September 15, 2014.
