The 'Rosemary's Baby' Mini-Series Casts Zoe Saldana

Zoe Saldana is the latest cast member to sign on for the four-part miniseries adaptation of Rosemary's Baby, which is set to air on NBC.

She didn't land a minor role either, Saldana will play Rosemary Woodhouse, the protagonist who after eventually becoming pregnant at the urging of her husband starts to question his very sinister plans for her baby in conjunction with their meddlesome neighbors.

Unlike the 1968 adaptation of the Ira Levin novel and the tome itself, this version will take place in Europe.

James Wong, who has been linked to The X-Files and  American Horror Story is writing the screenplay and Treme's Agnieszka Holland will direct.
