Ronda Rousey Stuns As Captain Marvel (PHOTOS)

By Rickey ·

Mixed martial artist Ronda Rousey just might be lobbying to become Marvel Comics' Captain Marvel should the Disney decide to bring the popular character to the big screen.

Rousey revealed recently in a Reddit AMA that she'd love to play the role of Carol Danvers, who has gone by the codenames Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, Binary and Warbird in the comics. The X-Men's Rogue also stole her powers at some point for those unfamiliar with the character.

The Internet of course has exploded with fan art of Rousey as Captain Marvel and she shared some of them on social media this weekend.

We like this! Time for some real female badassery in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Since the reddit AMA I've received so many badass Ms. Marvel/Captain Marvel edits! There were so many cool ones I couldn't pick just one to share - here's 1 series of 2 Big thank you to contributing artists: @bosslogix (two on right) and @salman.artworks (left)
