Roger Ebert blames Ryan Dunn on Twitter

The secondary story to Ryan Dunn's death yesterday was film critic Roger Ebert's "insensitive" tweet that has enraged Ryan's fans.
From Roger Ebert:
Friends don't let jackasses drink and drive.
After the fans raged, Ebert did not back down:
Perez Hilton's readers agree with me and not with Perez about my tweet on Ryan Dunn. He drank, he drove, 2 people died.
Obviously, we get the point of Ebert. It's been a slogan in the media for years. Don't drink and drive -- we get it: you die, other people die and/or you get a ticket.
However, a dead man cannot defend himself. And Ryan has already paid the ultimate price for his alleged mistake. Obviously to Ebert, Ryan Dunn is just another statistic, not a man who will be missed by a lot of his fans.
Twitter is the devil I tell you.
