Rockstar: INXS

Finally watched a Monday show last night, and the producers are wise to keep it at 30-minutes, although, to be honest, all we really need is a 15-minute setup for tonight. None of the "behind-the-scenes" crap really matters anyway when it comes to the tuesday or the wednesday show.

So tonight's drama will be whether J.D. and/or Brandon will choke, or if Jessica will finally "shine" melodically. Jessica, of course, was given tremendous airtime, but unfortunately was still forgettable. This show needs a lot of work. My guess is Brandon will choke and Jessica will not be melodic (just for fun while I watch this).

One gripe I have about it is that the prize is not big enough to really entice interest. If they were choosing the lead singer of U2 for example (which is impossible), or a new member of the Black Eyed Peas, I think the ratings would start flying. Because INXS has been forgotten for a while now, there's a so-what feel to all this. I guess I'm just learning about INXS on this show, while some of you already watch because you love them (wink).
