Rock Star: INXS

I just saw the performances tonight so I have not experienced the overall picture of this show, which involves a Big-Brother-like episode on Monday (then an elimination on Wednesday). The performance show tonight however was enough. I basically can't wait till week 10 or so when there are fewer stragglers. Too many of the women were blah at least in the performances. More than half of the 13 left were forgettable which is unfortunate, and ultimately boring. The lack of variety (everyone being all-rock, even the wannabees) hurts the viewability of the show. I don't know how the human-interest show on Monday affects the fanbase however. Let's wait next week.

Like the many visitors to CBS's website, I think the singer, and my favorite, who will win is Jordis. She's pretty, which as everyone knows is my first criteria, and she has amazing stage presence. Plus a great voice. She's the only one with real star-quality I think. She's the one to beat, and quite hard to beat, although I don't know how she would fit in with INXS. The others that I consider interesting are Mig, with his feminine-vibe (and flat tummy), and J.D., who seriously wants to win this. Ty is the poser. He reminded me of a masculine Grace Jones. Dave Navarro was spot on when he commented that Ty's theater experience "shows".
