Rochelle Perts - International Spotlight - X Factor (Netherlands)

It is hard to find a lot of bio information from her, but Rochelle Perts is a 19 year old from Helmond, Netherlands who competed on the most recent version of X Factor Netherlands.

I was actually really torn on featuring Rochelle, or at least, until I took a look at this:

As you see, back when she was 15 and auditioned for Idol, Rochelle was that typical awkward shy girl who had a bad haircut and didn't even make it to "Hollywood".

Well, take a look at her just 4 years later putting our very own Cher Lloyd to shame with her audition:

I think it's a pretty fair assumption that she was inspired by Cher Lloyd for that audition, but what excuses it is the fact that she did it even better. Her swagg was more tight and her voice blew circles over Cher. Confident, smart, powerful and just dang awesome.

I think Rochelle is so inspirational at a person. Just looking at the first video, you can clearly see how much she grew and transformed in such a short timeframe as an entertainer ...and given she did not even make it past auditions for Idol, it's incredible that she went on to WIN X Factor just a little over a week ago. Truly a inspiration that tells you never to give up.

Also, I was torn between featuring her, and the 2nd place act whom I also loved, so...I choose to do both. :)
