Robocop - Remake - Official Trailer #3

Sue me, I'm excited for this.

The third official trailer for the upcoming Robocop remake, starring The Killing's Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman and Samuel L. Jackson (two awesome guys who never met a script they didn't like), has hit the web. The clip is the best trailer yet, emphasizing that although this is startlingly different story from the 1987 original -- for instance, this Alex Murphy has his memories -- the film maintains the madcap action sensibilities of its forebear. Of course, the "blinking" style of the trailer gets annoying pretty quickly, but it's worth it just to see Robocop tearing apart an ED-209. You can watch the full trailer below via STUDIOCANAL UK:

The film also stars Michael Keaton, Abbie Cornish, Jay Baruchel, Jackie Earle Haley, Michael Kenneth Williams, Jennifer Ehle, and a whole bunch of other people you'll recognize once you've seen them.

Robocop hits theaters on February 12, 2014, a perfect Valentine's Day gift for the discerning action aficionado.
