Autopsy Reveals Robin Williams Hanged Himself

The world was rocked yesterday (August 11) when news hit that actor and comedian Robin Williams was dead at the age of 63 from an apparent suicide.

Authorities are now reporting after an autopsy that the actor hanged himself inside a bedroom in his home.

According to information from Marin County sheriff's Lt. Keith Boyd (assistant chief deputy coroner), Williams was discovered by his assistant, who become concerned when he did not answer repeated knocks on his bedroom door.

The news was revealed in a very graphic and detailed live press conference by police today (August 12) who discussed the exact pose Williams was in when he passed among other gory information which other sites have already covered in disturbing detail.

All this despite the fact that Williams' wife Susan Schneider requested privacy for her family and asked fans to remember the legacy her husband left behind rather than the way in which he died.
