Robin Thicke and his wife of 8 years Paula Patton announced their separation via a rep on Monday (Feb. 24), and now Thicke is thanking fans in a statement for all their love and support.
As the singer wrote on his website (or you know, he had someone else write for him), "I want to thank everyone for the well wishes these last few days. My fans mean everything to me."
"I’m looking forward to getting back on out on the road and performing in Washington DC this Thursday, and the rest of the tour. Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!"
In light of his split from Patton (AKA she finally came to her senses), Thicke cancelled a total of three shows because his heart is broken?
Hard to believe from a man who is known for being caught groping fans and wrote the super rapey "Blurred Lines" about his wife. Which he of course denies.
Patton and Thicke tied the knot in 2005 and have one son together.
