'Rising Star' will revolutionize reality singing competition shows this Sunday (VIDEO PREVIEW)

Rising Star had a test run of their app-voting system during The Bachelorette on Monday, and I am telling you: this show is going to be amazing.

The premise is simple: A person sings live and the viewers have the chance to vote "Yes" or "No" via an app. If the Yes votes reach a certain percentage (70%), the singer moves on.

As an added bonus, viewers voting for a singer can have the chance for their picture to appear on "The Wall" in front of the singer.

Honestly, this is a game changer. On The Voice we were treated with an "Instant Save" via Twitter vote during elimination nights. For Rising Star every contestant gets subject to a live vote every time they sing.

There won't ever be a "results" show because this show doesn't need one. The results happen on the spot.

The rush of LIVE VOTING is the best. I tried it out and I am already hooked!

The "experts" btw can also vote and their votes count for 7% each.

If you are a reality singing show buff like me, do yourself a favor and download the app now from iTunes or Google Play or Windows Store and get voting this Sunday.

Rising Star will air on three time zones this Sunday on ABC: 9/8c/7m.

Unfortunately, if you are on the West Coast you won't see the performance live, but via the app, you can still vote.

The show is hosted by Josh Groban, with experts Kesha, Brad Paisley and Ludacris.
