Rihanna - Diamonds - MP3 Listen

Rihanna's new single out! Progressing from the sound featured on her past two albums, is Rihanna trying to step it up creatively? Or does it make more sense that it is behind the creative mind of Sia and Stargate? Find out...

Listen here:

Albiet sounding like Sia with a dash of Lana del Rey during the majority of the song, this is arguably one of her best offerings and definitely the best lead single since "Umbrella" (Russian Roulette was good to me) Although I liked Talk that Talk from RiRi, a lot of people didn't, but RiRi said she don't care since "Diamonds" will be one of Fenty's least commercial singles. Hopefully this album follows suit.

It also sounds like Rihanna has been through some vocal training, even though this wasn't apparent in her iheartradio concert set the other day. The most pleasing parts of the song is when she adds her own little runs that don't sound too Sia-esque.

Good job Sia Rihanna. No shade intended..ok just a little.
