Rickey's Looking for New Writers 2013
Hey guys! It's that time of year again where we expand Team Rickey here on Rickey.org.
The last year saw a bit of turnover early when I started hiring writers and interns on the blog, but we're now stable with our core group. I wouldn't have survived the year with the expansion we have done without the talents of Nick, Joe and Trey -- three guys who answered my cattle call last year and are now prominent faces on the blog.
Rickey.org is read by thousands of people everyday and now's your chance to be part of it.
I am looking for two writer/bloggers: one for TV and one for Reality TV.
- The TV person will write recaps and/or report on TV news (broadcast, cable, maybe a bit of YouTube)
- The Reality TV person will be my apprentice in everything Reality TV that I do
You must have a good work ethic, be funny and have a positive outlook.
You must be able to write coherent sentences and have great ideas.
You must be in Eastern time in the United States and/or be able to watch shows as they air on the East Coast. (Do not apply if you cannot be in the same time zone as I am).
Also: This is not an intern position. You must be able to commit to writing for Rickey.org full-time or part-time on a regular schedule.

P.S. I am also toying with the idea of hiring a "greeter" in our comments section. Yes, someone who's job is to comment on almost every post and make everyone feel welcome on the blog to contribute their ideas. If you think this is something you can do, drop me a line as well.
