Report: Paula Abdul Star Search Deal is Off

It really looks like Paula Adbul is flush with cash. RadarOnline reports that the deal is off between Paula and ABC to host and judge the Star Search reboot. The source said she was offered a lot of money. Probably not as much as what she gets on Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva"!

Paula Abdul will not be appearing on the new version of Star Search, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

The former American Idol judge was in negotiations to host and do some judging on the remake of the 1980s hit that starred Ed McMahon.

But negotiations with ABC broke down Wednesday night a network source told RadarOnline.com.

“A deadline was given and no agreement was reached,” the source told RadarOnline.com.

“And she was offered a lot of money.”
