Report: Cheryl Cole Spends £2.2 Million On US Apartment

It really looks like Cheryl Cole will be a judge on the U.S. X Factor. Either that or she's so madly in love with Derek Hough, she's just going to move here.

The main criticism about Cheryl is that her accent is so thick, Americans may not understand what she is saying. Which is probably part of the fun. And on hindsight, we can't understand each other in this country anyway, so it's just all the same. Did we understand Paula Abdul at all when she was in the same panel as Simon Cowell? Well did you? I rest my case.

Cheryl Cole has reportedly splashed out £2.2 million on a luxury apartment in Beverly Hills, thought to be close to the US version of The X Factor's headquarters.

According to the Daily Star, Chezza's new pad is just five minutes from Fox TV Studios, fuelling rumours that she has landed a job on the American XF panel.
