Report: Charice to star in Here Comes the Boom with Salma Hayek

Charice is starring in her second Hollywood movie! She cannot be stopped! Amazing! What a Filipino talent!

International singing sensation Charice is rumored to be filming her second Hollywood movie, Here Comes the Boom, starring Salma Hayek, reports ABS-CBN News.

Citing the Internet Movie Database, the report said Charice supposedly plays the role of Malia in the action-comedy film which will be released next year. Included in the cast are Kevin James (Grown Ups, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry), Henry Winkler (Click, Arrested Development) and Joe Rogan (Fear Factor). According to the site, the film is directed by The Wedding Singer director Frank Coraci.

According to ABS-CBN News, Charice' mother Raquel Pempengco sent them an online article about the movie, which is a story about a music teacher (James) that turns to cage fighting for the prize money to keep his school's music program financially afloat. However, Pempengco did not officially confirm her daughter's involvement in the project.
