'Reign' Season 2 Trailer Brings the Black Death to France (VIDEO)

Full disclosure: Reign is one of my favorite shows (no, really. I love Reign fiercely). Seriously, I get that it's not even close to historical accuracy, and that it has more mysticism than it probably should. But dammit, it's just a terrific little soap that illustrates just how varied The CW is in terms of its programming. So, naturally, I'm stoked for Season 2, even if it does promise loads of death.

Yes, Entertainment Weekly has released the first official trailer for Reign Season 2. For those who may have forgotten, the Season 1 finale left off with Francis riding out into a plague-ridden France to be with Lola for the birth of their bastard child, leaving Mary little choice but to seal the castle gates behind him to protect her subjects. In this trailer, we see Francis holding his newborn baby alongside Lola, Bash kicking in doors to be with Kenna, Mary presiding over a scourge of plague victims, and Catherine congratulating Mary on her reign as only she can. In short, it looks like it's going be an absolutely crazy season. Check out the full trailer below via Entertainment Weekly:
