'Reign' Season 2 Casts Rose Williams in Royal Role
The Plague is coming to claim the people of France in Reign Season 2, but at least some beautiful people are coming along for the ride. British starlet Rose Williams has joined the cast in a crucial, recurring role for Season 2.
Williams, a relative newcomer who appeared in an episode of the British drama Casualty this year, will play the surprising role of Princess Claude.
What's so surprising about her?
Well, Princess Claude is not just "a glorious troublemaker who sees other women primarily as competition," she's also the daughter of Catherine de Medici (Megan Follows) and the late King Henry (Alan Van Sprang), and the sister of the recently-crowned King Francis (Toby Regbo).
Claude is described as an agitator who "delights in making one woman’s life a living hell: her mother’s."
So it looks like Catherine will have another beautiful, young royal meddling in her affairs this coming season. Poor Catherine, related either by marriage or by blood to all her biggest headaches. Reign Season 2 premieres on Thursday, October 2nd on The CW.
