Reese Witherspoon discusses her arrest on Good Morning America - Video

Damage Control 2013 is well underway, as Reese Witherspoon went on Good Morning America to promote her new film "Mud," but ended up discussing her recent arrest.

“We went out to dinner in Atlanta and we had one too many glasses of wine,” said the Oscar winner, referring to herself and husband Jim Toth, whose own DUI arrest resulted in Witherspoon's outburst against the arresting officer, who charged Witherspoon with disorderly conduct. “We thought we were fine to drive and we absolutely were not. We know better and we shouldn’t have done that.”

Witherspoon goes on to discuss some of the crazy lies she told the officer. If nothing else, Witherspoon demonstrates a good sense of humor about the entire situation, even making cracks at her own expense. Check out the video below:
