Rediscovering Swan Lake

Image: http://www.nycballet.com/repnotes/images/swanfull.jpg I love the swans! As a kid, I absolutely hated the ballet when my mother brought me to the theater to get cultured. What a difference a nice theater (the New York State Theater) and really good dancers make. Excellent footwork by the ladies - they really looked like swans, and amazing jumping by the men (well, they looked gay but who cares, they had amazing butts). The ballet even featured some boys and girls in the ensemble and they were really great. I loved it. So many people in the theater too. I can't believe I absolutely enjoyed this stuff. I'm so into ballet now. (Don't worry, I'll get over it tomorrow.)
