Redfoo Injured in Glassing Attack (VIDEO)

Redfoo has gone from The X Factor Australia to the hospital: the rapper/judge on the talent competition found himself the victim of a glassing attack at a pub at a Sydney hotel.

While hanging out at a pub in Sydney's Double Bay to celebrate the release of his new single, "New Thang", Redfoo caught a glass to the face from an agitated person in the crowd, for no apparent reason. The attack left him bloody and traumatized, in addition to nearly costing him an eye. Redfoo recalls being taunted by his attacker in the immediate aftermath: "He looked at me and blew me a kiss. He was ... like, taunting me!"

This entire mess has led to the rapper calling for the ban of glass in pubs around the country. "I just have an issue with glasses. ... It was a heavy glass."

It's not that strange a request, actually. The bar in my town doesn't allow glass, only using plastic cups. So it's not unheard of, although I'm not sure how far Redfoo is willing to take the initiative. But regardless of what you might think of the guy, it's definitely messed up that someone would throw a friggin' GLASS at him. Check out the full video report on the incident below:
