For you Alarmtern! (and Atlanteans!)

From Metromix Atlanta:

Rebecca Loebe is an indie-folk singer from Atlanta who made her national television debut on NBC’s new hit show “The Voice.” She has lived in her car for the past few years, traveling all over the country performing more than 100 shows a year at coffeehouses and colleges, as well as local music venues like Eddie’s Attic and Chastain Park Amphitheatre.

On the premiere episode of “The Voice,” Loebe performed Nirvana's "Come As You Are" as the famous coaches listened blindly with their backs to her. During her performance, Christina Aguilera and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine both turned around to show their support. Ultimately, she decided to join Adam’s team, because she feels his career more closely resembles the goals she’s working toward as a singer-songwriter.
