'Ready For Love' to finish its run online and on VOD

What little viewership Ready For Love, NBC's reality dating series, had upon its premiere earlier this month were likely disappointed when NBC pulled the low-rated show from its lineup last week.

However, the show will still be allowed to finish its run, even if not on network TV. NBC is putting the remaining episodes on NBC.com, VOD, Electronic Sell-Through (iTunes, Amazon, Vudu, etc.) and Hulu. Starting next Tuesday, April 30, a new episode will be made available each week until the finale on June 4.

A weekly release is strange, given that the inclination with streaming TV series is to binge-watch. Yet the idea is to remain consistent with the airing pattern to which viewers are accustomed for unscripted series such as these. Because it worked out so well for the series in primetime, I guess.
