Ravenswood - Recap - Episode 9 - Along Came A Spider

We're just one week away from the season finale of Ravenswood and..I'm still as confused as ever. The only thing I realized this week was that Ray Collins (Steven Cabral) is creepily attractive.

Read on for our recap of episode 9 of Ravenswood "Along Came A Spider".

Luke (Brett Dier) and Olivia (Merritt Patterson) are having a bad week. The episode kicks off as their mother is arrested for murdering their father. Not knowing what to do, Olivia wonders whether or not she can trust Collins in between keeping an eye on Luke's temper. When Miranda (Nicole Gale Anderson) witnesses what she believes is true feelings for Mrs. Matheson, she convinces Olivia to allow him to post bail.

On top of all of this, Olivia has to worry about her boyfriend, Dillon (Luke Benward). Dillon finally shows up after last week's reveal that he was the one who told Springer to plant the dagger. Dillon has a lame excuse. He claims his parents found his condoms and sent him to ministry camp to be purified. Pssht, man, you aint Brita.

Olivia is in massive denial because, let's face it, she went all the way and now she's a bit hypnotized by the whole thing. Luke is pissed that Dillon is taking advantage of his sister...and not just because she beat him in the sex department. Remy (Britne Oldford) isn't ready! And that's okay. Anyways. Remy offers Springer a deal. In exchange for him giving information about what Dillon is really up to, she'll print a piece in the paper that favors his father. This backfires because Remy's dad fires her from the paper. Will Springer last long enough to tell the cops what he knows?

Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) is probably pretty stressed too. Not only is he fighting for himself with this pact, but he's starting high school in Ravenswood. That sucks. He's also being stalked by a mysterious woman and a bunch of spiders. I wonder if they lead to the Forbidden Forest?

He decides to investigate a mysterious chapel that Ray keeps under lock and key. He's able to find the keys although something tries to gas him out. Once inside, he and Miranda discover 6 names written on the floor. One name is Rivers. The last names of the others in the pact are not listed. Even more curious, Dillon's last name is.

Want to know why? Because Dillon is a big, fat, chicken. And a traitor. And a whole lot of other words I can't say. Luke confronts him in the locker room and Dillon isn't bothered. He says he can't be hurt because he has "backup". "I found a way out of the pact and so can you." In case that wasn't clear, Dillon makes it clearer. He traded Olivia to save himself. What a jerk!

Luke is then strangled by a mysterious "hand". What a tough day for him. When walking home, Remy catches Ray and Dillon in a heated exchange. What are they up to? Whose side is Ray Collins even on? I'm so confused. Here's hoping next week's season finale answers some questions.
