Ravenswood - Recap - Episode 4 - The Devil Has a Face
An installment where I hoped we would get answers comes up short in episode 4 of Ravenswood.
Read on for our recap of "The Devil Has a Face."
Caleb is sitting at his computer, in a towel, pondering how best to deal with Hanna. He's struggling over whether or not to tell her the truth about what's going on and Miranda's constant presence is creating difficulties. I mean, he's not wearing underwear. She begins to think she's irritating which, to her, hurts even more.
Miranda has developed a bit of a crush on Caleb. Hasn't it only been a few days? I mean, I know he's hot but still. Even by ABC Family standards, this relationship would be a little weird.
Ray continues to be creepy. Miranda begins to wonder if he's scarier than we first thought. He's keeping bits of people in his office. Locks of hair from all the teens that have died over the years in Ravenswood. Including Miranda's. On top of that, Olivia learns that Ray and her mother have a history. They used to go to school together and he didn't get along with her father. Did he have something to do with his murder? How much does this guy know?
Caleb meets an older woman who knew of the original Caleb Rivers who died in the boating accident. She tells Caleb of a relative of his named Henry. He and Remy venture off to visit this guy and see what he knows about the Pact. I can barely remember what this pact is. This show is really failing at explaining things. I can't get wrapped up in the mystery if I'm confused all the time. And this old guy is confusing. He shows up to visit Caleb and hands him a couple of keys. "It's your turn now." Turn to what? Suffer through a curse? Sounds inviting.
In other loose end news, Luke has started to cheat on Remy with Olivia's ex friend, Tess. Being with Remy is too hard for him. He basically tells her that she's a Debbie Downer and he doesn't want to be with someone who constantly reminds him of the impending doom and gloom of his life. He's charming.
In happier news, Miranda meets her mother and the two of them appear to go into the white light. Maybe now she won't be so lonely. But, it's Ravenswood, and my guess is that won't be for long.
