Ratings: The X Factor up 10% from last week, wins Tuesday

Yes! The X Factor posted a 4.3 adult rating last night to be the #1 show on Tuesday. How exciting! Hopefully this carries over to next week -- but it's going to be on a Wednesday, so we'll see what happens. Nevertheless, I am happy that the ratings are steady and not "tanking" like the negative haters are hoping for this show.

FOX won the night among adults 18-49 as another Tuesday edition of The X Factor rose 10% vs. last week to a series high equalling 4.3 adults 18-49 rating. Note that X Factor has typically been getting increases in the final ratings. The X Factor was also the top rated show among adults 18-49 on the night.

NCIS rose a tenth (3%) to a 4.0 adults 18-49 rating, and topped X Factor in the 8pm hour (vs. 3.8 rating). NCIS: LA also increased (9%) to a 3.7 adults 18-49 rating. CBS was second for the night with adults 18-49. Unforgettable was even with last week's 2.5 adults 18-49 rating.

ABC's Last Man Standing fell 10% in its third episode to a 2.8 adults 18-49 rating and Man Up! tumbled 21% in its second episode to a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating. At 9pm Dancing with the Stars results slipped a tenth (4%) to a 2.5 adults 18-49 rating. Body Of Proof was even with last week's 1.9 adults 18-49 rating.
