Ratings: 'The X Factor' falls 9% from Wednesday

Update: The X Factor already adjusted up to 3.2

(Note: Just goes to show how FOX PR is totally on this rating thing. They always request a "quick final" when ratings news might affect perception of the how good the show is. They did it all the time this year for American Idol.)

Update 2: Glee adjusted DOWN to 3.1 and the previous adjustment of The X Factor -- didn't happen in the final ratings so it's back to 3.1 for Simon's show. LOL.

* * * * *

The X Factor had a 3.1 adult rating last night, down 9% from Wednesday. Glee had a 3.3 rating and was the #1 show of the night. America's Got Talent had a series finale low of 2.4 but still had 10 million viewers, the most for the night.

I predict that The X Factor will dip below 3 in the next two weeks, specially on Thursday. The show can't blame The Voice for that to be honest. Maybe Simon Cowell will get desperate and hire Khloe Kardashian to host for ratings.

The rest of the numbers:

From TVbytheNumbers:

On FOX, The X Factor notched a 3.1 18-49 rating for day two, down three tenths from to yesterday's 3.4 premiere rating. Glee premiered to a 3.3 adults 18-49 rating, down considerably from last year's 4.0 premiere rating.

On CBS, Big Brother earned a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating, down three tenths from last week's 2.3 rating

On NBC, America's Got Talent earned a 2.4 18-49 rating, its lowest for a finale ever and down considerably from last years' finale which earned a 3.6 adults 18-49 rating. It should be noted that this year's finale ran on Thursday, where it's only aired one other original this season, while last season's finale came on Talent's 13th consecutive Wednesday telecast.

On The CW,The Next garnered a 0.2 among adults 18-49, down from last week's 0.3 rating.
