Ratings: 'Scandal' beats 'American Idol' on Thursday - 4/26/2013

Update: The Big Bang Theory up to 4.5 (!!!), American Idol adjusted up to 2.8, The Vampire Diaries up to 1.0

American Idol 12 had a 2.7 adult rating on Thursday -- its lowest rated show ever. It was tied with Grey's Anatomy and Person of Interest and Scandal beat it for the very first time ever with a 2.8. Wow.

The Big Bang Theory had a 4.2 rating and 14.38 million viewers, the #1 and most watched show of the night.

The Vampire Diaries had a 0.9 rating and 2.15 million viewers. (This doesn't bode well for the potential The Originals spinoff unfortunately.)

Two and a Half Men had a 2.8 rating (beating Idol again).

Glee had a 1.8 rating and 5.24 million viewers.

Beauty and the Beast had a 0.5 rating and 1.3 million viewers.

Elementary had a 2.0 rating.

Hannibal had a 1.0 rating.
