Animal Planet was home to a Super Bowl of its own, with “The Puppy Bowl X” clocking in at a record 13.5 million viewers throughout the 12-hour marathon on Sunday, Feb. 2. The 10th annual “Puppy Bowl” scored 3.3 million viewers in the premiere telecast from 3-5 p.m. ET, which increased by 24 percent from the year-ago telecast. And it was the No. 1 telecast in all of cable on Sunday in total viewers, households (2.1 million) and women 18-49 (754,000). For the second year in a row, the premiere also helped Animal Planet rank No.1 in the time period in all cable and No. 2 in all of television (behind Fox) across major key demos, including adults 18-49 (1.3 million), adults 25-54 (1.2 million) and women 18-49 (754,000).
