Ratings: New Girl wins Tuesday

The big news last night was the new show on CW Remodeled flopped spectacularly in the ratings with a 0.3 and 0.707 million viewers. New Girl was the #1 rated show with a 3.4 followed by Glee with a 3.0. May I remind everyone that The X Factor had better ratings and more viewers than these two shows, but no one seems to be calling New Girl or Glee a "flop".

I'm very excited for tonight's ratings for American Idol. I think it's going to be a good one.

From TVbytheNumbers:

Fox was all new for the first Tuesday since mid-December, and topped the night's adults 18-49 ratings on a night with CBS in repeats. Glee's 3.0 adults 18-49 rating was even with its last new episode. New Girl returned with a 3.4 adults 18-49 rating, up a tenth vs. a 3.3 rating for its last new episode, and Raising Hope was back with a 2.3 adults 18-49 rating even with its last new episode.

The series premiere of CW's Remodeled at 9pm drew just a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating. Ouch. The return of 90210 after a five week repeat break scored a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating, down two tenths (25%) vs. a 0.8 rating for its last new episode.

NBC's The Biggest Loser drew a season low 2.3 adults 18-49 rating between 8-10p, down a tenth vs. a 2.4 rating last week. Parenthood had another season low 1.7 adults 18-49 rating matching last week.
