Ratings: Modern Family wins Wednesday, X Factor down 11%

Update: The X Factor was adjusted up to 4.1!

The X Factor led FOX to an overall win on Wednesday with a 3.9 adult rating. This was 11% down from last week. Modern Family won the night with a 5.6. Survivor: South Pacific had a 3.1.

Not a bad performance for X Factor at all placing behind Modern Family. If the ratings get adjusted later tonight it could crack 4 again. Let's hope the ratings remain stable enough until the live shows start. In fact, next week is the start of Boot Camp so it will already be interesting.

From TVbytheNumbers:

The X Factor's 3.9 adults 18-49 rating was enough to lift Fox on top of the adults 18-49 ratings for the night, but it was down 11% from last week's premiere Wednesday.

Modern Family slipped just a big, down 8% to a 5.6 adults 18-49 rating.

CBS's Survivor: South Pacific 3.1 adults 18-49 rating was down 3% vs. last week.

CW's H8R was up 50% (0.2!) ratings points from last week to a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating. America's Next Top Model was up a tenth from last week to a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating.
