Update #2: Modern Family adjusted up to 4.2, American Idol up to 3.1 and Survivor up to 2.5

Update #1: Duck Dynasty had a 3.7 adult rating beating American Idol again.

Modern Family had a 4.1 adult rating on Wednesday, the #1 show on broadcast TV for the night. It had 10.59 million viewers. American Idol had a 3.0 rating, down 6% from last week and its lowest for a performance show. It had 11.5 million viewers.

Wow, I'm stunned. I thought Idol would recover this week. This is like The X Factor back in the fall! There's no way Idol can beat The Big Bang Theory or Two and a Half Men or Person of Interest tonight. We are looking at its lowest rated show ever in just a few hours.

Survivor had a 2.4 rating and 9.14 million viewers.

Arrow had a 0.9 rating and 2.84 million viewers.

Criminal Minds had a 2.8 rating and 10.68 million viewers.

How To Live With Your Parents (Series Premiere) had a 2.9 rating (just 0.1 behind Idol!) and 8.36 million viewers.
