Ratings: 'Grey's Anatomy' beats 'American Idol' again - 3/29/2013

Update: American Idol adjusted up to 2.8, Grey's Anatomy up to 2.9, NCAA (Syracuse/Indiana) at 2.8

American Idol 12 had a 2.7 adult rating on Thursday. This is the show's lowest rated show ever on any night on any season. This was down 7% from last week's 2.9 (the previous series all-time low).

Grey's Anatomy had a 2.8 rating, the #1 show of the night.

Scandal had a 2.6 rating.

The Vampire Diaries had a 1.2 rating.

Beauty and the Beast had a 0.6 rating.

So for the week:

Both editions of The Voice beat both editions of American Idol in the all-important adult rating. The Voice is the highest rated show of the week.

Duck Dynasty beat both editions of American Idol in the adult rating.

Both editions of Dancing with the Stars and both editions of The Voice beat both editions of American Idol in total number of viewers. (NCIS and NCIS: LA on CBS beat Idol as well).

In fact, in the total number of viewers rankings for the week, Idol will most likely be out of the Top 6.

The scariest part: American Idol is still going to go lower over the next few weeks. We have not seen the bottom yet! OMG Plus: CBS shows like Criminal Minds and their dominating Thursday lineup are returning with originals next week. Idol will be in the low 2's for sure next Thursday.

I can't believe it's happening to me...
