Ratings: Big Brother wins big, SYTYCD Finale down 13% from last year

UPDATE: The ratings were adjusted down across the board due to pre-emptions. BB13 had a 2.7 and SYTYCD had a 2.0.

Big Brother scored an impressive 3.2 rating last night! That's up 14% from last week.

Meanwhile, So You Think You Can Dance rose 24% from last week with a 2.1 -- but down 13% from last season's finale. How disappointing!

I'm worried for the show now. I don't think Nigel Lythgoe will have time for some soul-searching as he prepares for American Idol. Then it's going to be a rush again when SYTYCD comes back after Idol next summer. I hope it comes back!

From TVbytheNumbers:

CBS won the night with adults 18-49 and total viewers, and pending updated info, Big Brother rose by 14% to a 3.2 adults 18-49 rating.

The two hour So You Think You Can Dance finale scored a 2.1 rating with adults 18-49 that’s up 24% from last week’s one hour telecast and its best numbers since June 16, but down 13% from last year’s finale that scored aa 2.4 adults 18-49 rating on August 12, 2011.
