Ratings: Big Brother rises, wins Thursday

The double eviction Big Brother 13 scored a 3.2 rating last night. That's up 10% from last week.

I hope that Big Brother continues to dominate even if two of the so-called "fan favorites" have left the show. I think that the viewers will remain since the show got even more exciting after last night.

CBS easily won the night with adults 18-49 and total viewers as Big Brother rose 10 percent to a 3.2 adults 18-49 rating to go along with its 8.48 million viewers. Big Brother matched its season best adults 18-49 rating and had its best performance with adults 25-54 and its biggest audience since September 2007.

Even with the numbers probably being a little inflated an original Wipeout actually underperformed Tuesday's repeat by 5% to score a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating. But pending any adjustments in the finals, Expedition Impossible was up two-tenths to a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating and Rookie Blue was up a tenth to a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating.
