Ratings: Big Brother beats Lady Gaga and So You Think You Can Dance

Big Brother beat So You Think You Can Dance again last Thursday. Lady Gaga however helped a SYTYCD a bit boosting SYTYCD 5% from last week. Unfortunately, not enough to beat Wipeout and a rerun of The Big Bang Theory in its 8pm timeslot.

SYTYCD had a good show this week, and Nigel Lythgoe is trying to make it work -- but unfortunately, the audience isn't there anymore for this show. Really, they should cast less talented dancers next year. That is the formula: mediocrity.

CBS topped the night with adults 18-49 and total viewers led by a Big Brother was steady versus last Thursday with a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating. Two days of Lady Gaga on Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance didn’t boost the ratings much, Wednesday’s episode was 5% higher than the previous week. The preliminary 1.7 adults 18-49 rating for last night is 6% higher than last week, though an adjustment of another tenth up in the finals wouldn’t be surprising.
