Ratings: America's Got Talent has best night in 5 years

Amazing! America's Got Talent just keeps on getting better and betterer! Last night was the second highest rated show for the franchise ever. I'm so happy.

9 PM seems to be the sweet spot for NBC this summer.

Meanwhile, FOX's summer offering SYTYCD is losing viewers every week. I don't think that show will recover this season specially since Big Brother is premiering on CBS.

From TVbytheNumbers:

NBC easily won the night with adults 18-49 and total viewers as America’s Got Talent averaged a 4.5 adults 18-49 rating between 9-11p, its second highest rating ever trailing only the series debut (4.6) on June 21, 2006.
