Ratings: America's Got Talent barely beats MasterChef

America's Got Talent hit a summer low with a 2.7 but it was enough to edge past the finale of MasterChef which scored a 2.6. At the 9 pm hour MasterChef actually beat AGT.

AGT has been steadily "dropping" but at least it's not the big shift we saw with SYTYCD this summer. I doubt that it will fall below 2 like SYTYCD. There are only a couple of shows left and it might even improve as the finale gets closer.

From TVbytheNumbers:

Fox won the night with a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating between 8-10pm as MasterChef scored a 2.4 rating with adults 18-49 in the special 8-9p hour time slot. Its finale at 9p drew all-time series highs in both adults 18-49 with a 2.8 rating and total viewers with 7.0 million.

America’s Got Talent was down 0.3 from last week’s finals to a Tuesday summer low 2.7 adults 18-49 rating between 9-11p.
