Ratings: American Idol up 1% from last week, up 26% in viewers from last season

This show cannot be stopped. Without James Durbin, the ratings actually increased. This is exactly the show people want to see. Two hours of Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina and Haley Reinhart plus their auditions and Beyonce. Nigel Lythgoe is a programming genius!
