Ratings: 'American Idol' had lowest rated show ever on Thursday - 2/21/2014
American Idol had a series low 2.4 adult rating on Thursday. It had 9.19 million viewers.
The Winter Olympics on NBC had a 4.9 rating and 19.93 million viewers.
A repeat of The Big Bang Theory beat American Idol in ratings and number of viewers with 2.6 and 10.06 million viewers respectively.
Rake had a 1.0 rating and 4.02 million viewers.
The Taste had a 0.9 rating and 3.16 million viewers.
Should I panic about American Idol? It's now in the low 2's. The Top 13 is starting and The Voice premieres next week. Spencer Lloyd was eliminated. But it's the best season of American Idol ever! I'm so confused.
Maybe this is the end of Idol. I think the possibility of the show dropping below 2 is very real now specially on Thursdays.
