Ratings: American Idol holds steady this week, up 2% from last season

American Idol ratings are down from last week by .3 (5%) but it might be less than that or even after the afternoon adjustment. However, Idol is up 2% from last season and up 12% in viewers from last season.

This show cannot be stopped! I anticipate a record-breaking finale next week. 95 million votes were cast this week -- something good must be happening.

Last week's results show rating: 6.5, this week: 6.2 (but could be adjusted up - it started at 6.2 in the morning last week as well).
