Ratings: American Idol down but beats The Voice

Update: American Idol adjusted to a 5.4

Scandal works! Jermaine Jones just handed FOX a gift from his exit.

American Idol had a 5.3 adult rating last night, down from a 5.7 last week, but it was enough to beat The Voice's 5.2 rating last Monday. Can this be the start of a trend? Too soon to tell. Let's see if the Jermaine Jones scandal carries over tonight. The Big Bang Theory is being pre-empted by NCAA basketball so Idol should dominate the ratings again. This is the first time that American Idol has beaten The Voice in weeks.
