Rashida Jones To Star in Comedy Pilot From Steve Carell

Rashida Jones is already gearing up for a new job! The actress is set to star in a comedy pilot for TBS from Steve Carell. Rashida previously starred with Steve on The Office.

Rashida Jones is departing NBC's Parks and Recreation, the series she has starred in for the past few years.

Tribeca, is a police procedural satire set at LAPD’s RHCU (Really Heinous Crimes Unit). Rashida will star as Angie Tribeca, who is described as a strong-willed veteran of the force who isn't happy to start working with a partner. Sounds like The Heat with less curse words.

Steve Carell will serve as writer, director, and executive producer. Rashida's last episode of Parks and Recreation airs on January 30th.
