Randy Travis Released From Hospital

Randy Travis has been released from Baylor Heart hospital, his publicist announced yesterday.

Randy has had quite a year. After being arrested for being drunk and disorderly on several occasions last year, getting into altercations and generally being troubled, he started to get his life back together a few months ago. This was cut short, however, by viral cardiomyopathy, which is a heart problem, and he was left in critical condition. He then suffered a stroke, and underwent surgery in mid July to relieve the pressure on his brain. He has since slowly recovered and has been discharged from heart hospital, being relocated to a physical therapy facility.

It was touch and go, but it seems like Randy Travis is well on the way to full recovery after a rough year. Hopefully this new lease of life will be a brand new start for him and I hope he can get back to normal soon.
