Randy Jackson Discusses American Idol Season 9
Billboard interviewed Randy Jackson about American Idol Season 9. He said that Kara DioGuardi is more comfortable now as a judge, and that not many Adam Lambert or Kris Allen clones showed up to audition, which was unusual. Normally, Randy says, "whoever wins that season, you get more and more of that."
With regards to Simon Cowell leaving American Idol for a U.S. version of The X Factor, Randy Jackson says: "I won't believe it 'til I see it. I haven't spoken to him about it. You just never really know; there are a lot of alleged things going on, but who knows, right? We'll see what happens."
I think this is kinda overshadowed now by Randy's recent Twitter-gate where his Twitter account "crowd-sourced" the Grammy Awards for ideas. He later claimed that an assistant used his Twitter to post those tweets which are now deleted.
