Randy Jackson Back, Enrique Iglesias Out as American Idol Judge?

THR reports that Randy Jackson will be staying on the American Idol season 12 judging panel after all.  The change was reportedly instigated by 19E and Freemantle abandoning negotiations with Enrique Iglesias as a potential fourth judge.

According to THR, a "source close to the show" has said that Idol producers have abandoned negotiations with Enrique Iglesias as a potential fourth judge.  As a result, long time judge Randy Jackson will be returning to the judging panel.

The current plan, according to the source, is to announce an Idol judges panel of Carey, Minaj, Urban and Jackson in time for the show's on-site auditions, which start by the end of September.

Fox and Jackson are both remaining mum on the judging situation.  Fox declined to speak to THR and Jackson has been dodging questions about his status as a judge on the talk show circuit.
