Raign sings 'Clarity' on The X Factor UK 2014 (VIDEO)

Raign sang 'Clarity' and her own original song, 'Don't Let Me Go', on The X Factor UK 2014 Room Auditions.

This was one of the strangest auditions I've seen on a show like this, in that she bombed her first audition, and then -- through sheer force of will -- nagged the judges into giving her a second chance...which surprisingly worked out for her. I'm still not sure she necessarily deserved to go through though. The second song was better than the first, yes, but I just don't feel like she's any kind of star, or even a contender of any sort. And those are the people they need to be looking for this season, not more Wagner types. That said, she doesn't have a terrible voice or anything, and if she can master her nerves, maybe she'll end up surprising everyone by blossoming into a real threat. But I'm not holding my breath.

But what do you think of Raign?
